We had to get up quite early on Wednesday - at about 6: 30, because we were off to a day tour to the very south of Ireland. More accurately, we were off to Cork, Blarney Castle and Cobh. After an about three hours coach journey, we arrived at Cork, a very sweet little town. We stopped there to have some lunch.
Then we departed for Blarney Castle. Read all about it: http://www.blarneycastle.ie. There's this famous stone one should kiss which should give you the gift of talking. To kiss the stone, you have to lean over an edge and a guy is holding you, look at the picture. I didn't really get why exactly to kiss the bloody stone but I did it anyway - just to find myself think of all the people suffering from herpes who kissed it before me. Around the castle, there's a really nice park, even a lake is situated on the land.
The gang!

Our next stop was Cobh, a seaside town. Cobh was the last departure point of the Titanic, therefore there are a few memorials and a Titanic museum, which I haven't visited. I was busy walking around, looking at the cathedral and drinking tea in the sun.
Then I had a very funny coach ride home with some people from Switzerland, Germany and Austria I got to know...
