IRELAND - Thursday

On Thursday, we finally got to explore Dublin. In the morning, we went to see the Guinness storehouse. The most enjoyable part, of course, was the beer testing - but it was also very interesting to learn all about the history of Guinness beer and to see the collection of advertising posters.

Then we had time to explore Dublin on our own. We took a hop on hop off bus to see the main sights (not many in Dublin) and ended up in O'Connell street, one of the main roads in Dublin. In the centre of the street, there's The Spire, a monument and famous landmark of Dublin. It is 123 meters high and quite impressive. After walking around in O'Connell street, we went to see the Trinity College, a famous college with many nice buildings. Then we took a walk towards the port, ending up walking back along the river Liffey.
