some statistics for you guys: i study for my stats exam. let the variable x be the number of hours i study and y the amount of chocolate i consume. if you would do some calculations you would find that the product moment correlation coefficient would tend towards one. this would mean that there's quite strong positive correlation between x and y. this means that as the number of hours i study (x) increase, my consumption of chocolate (y) increases. any questions?

perfect positive linear correlation
