saturday is trip-day: winchester, salisbury and stonehenge with mr. h. (the minibus driver). i set my alarm for half past five in the morning - our journey started quite early, mr. h. picked us up around six o'clock. we headed straight off to our first destination: winchester. a town with a church (why does that not surprise me? every damn village has a totally exciting church), a starbucks (morning-coffee) and the house where jane austen died in.

our second destination was salisbury. a little river led us to the town centre. we had lunch at an italian place; i happily noticed that my italian is not totally gone and is still good enough to order food - what more could i wish for? then we visited the town cathedral. i think after my year over here i've seen churches for some years :D 

our last and by no means least destination was stonehenge! the rocks from the neolithic times are just standing in the middle of the landscape - it looks pretty weird.
