eating 'nusstorte' from switzerland - i am happy :D

after finishing my photography project during the last week, we got the exam paper today. the exam paper is a task from an independent exam board, and it will form my mark together with the course work i've done so far. we are allowed to work on this final project for about 3 months... the questions: home, contrasts, musical instruments/musicians, multiple images, issues. we have pick one topic and do research about it and basically produce work on it... i'll probably go for 'home', because i think it is not too hard to complete and already have some vague ideas on what i could actually do... we'll see. 

saturday was trip-day: i went to oxford with ellen and svenja. it took us about 2 and a half hours to get to oxford, but it was worth it. oxford is a nice town with countless old buildings and many, many bicyclists :) we looked at an old church and climbed onto its tower, we had a walk through the botanical garden (and a longer stop in the glass houses of the botanical garden, it was nicely warm in there, whereas outside it was freezing), and looked at one of the colleges. the college we looked at was the christ church college, which is famous for a big hall which was the inspiration for j.k. rowling's big hall in the harry potter books. in the college's church, we walked into a choir practice - it was quite funny.

we've been eating english cheese in mr. h.'s lesson today: 

the cheese in the middle is some weird one wrapped in stinging nettle leaves... it was actually good but without a very strong flavour. 

now i'm off to zumba for the second time :)

mr. h. is in a very bad mood these days, and he gave us some nasty homework: we have to write an essay about henry the 8th and his six wives (divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived)... veeery interesting. if anyone wants to read it, i'll scan it! not. 

i did not have such a good day: the weather changed to rain again, i lost my hat and five pounds, mr. h. kicked us out of his office because he was in a bad mood, and i got loads of maths homework. yay!

good weather for already two days - a miracle :D
